🐾 MONDAY CHALLENGE: MAKE MEALTIME ENRICHING! 🍽️🐶
Let’s start the week by turning one meal into an enrichment opportunity! 🧠👃❤️
Instead of simply putting your dog’s food down in their bowl, can you make them work their brain a little?
You could try:
👃 Scatter feeding — scatter their food around the garden or a safe area and let them sniff it out.
🧻 DIY enrichment — hide kibble in a cardboard box, scrunched-up paper or a folded towel.
🧠 Puzzle feeder — use a lick mat, Kong or food puzzle if you have one.
🔎 Find it! — hide small amounts of their food around one room and encourage them to sniff it out.
🌿 Sniff & search walk — take some of their normal food with you and scatter a few pieces in a safe grassy area.
💡 Remember: enrichment doesn’t need to be complicated or expensive. Often, the simplest activities can be incredibly rewarding!
⚠️ Always supervise DIY enrichment and make sure anything you use is safe for your individual dog.
