Greetings, everyone! ❤️ My name is Minister Sylvia May, and I am truly grateful to be connected to this Armor Bearer Collective. I believe God led me to this space at a time when I genuinely needed it. Serving in the capacity of an armor bearer is an assignment that carries tremendous responsibility, sacrifice, discernment, humility, and, above all, a heart to serve. One thing I’ve learned is that those who are called to cover others need covering, too. There are moments in this assignment that can feel incredibly lonely, especially when you’re expected to remain strong, discerning, available, and spiritually attentive while navigating your own personal challenges. I’ve come to understand that having a heart to serve doesn’t mean you won’t experience exhaustion, disappointment, or seasons when you need encouragement yourself. That’s why I’m so grateful for this collective. I’m looking forward to being in a space with others who understand the weight of the assignment without needing a lengthy explanation. A place where we can learn, grow, sharpen one another, be transparent, and receive the same encouragement we so freely pour into those we’ve been assigned to serve. I don’t just want to be a better armor bearer. I want to remain a healthy, whole, spiritually grounded servant who never loses sight of the God who called me to serve. I’m looking forward to connecting with each of you, learning from your experiences, and contributing wherever I can. Thank you for creating a space where those who pour can also be poured into. Because even those who carry the armor need somewhere safe to lay it down. ❤️🙏🏽
