So I've been hearing Uncle Cuba glazing this fragrance for years and recently, I found a 49ml tester for $70 and I decided to blind by it. Coming into the fall, the scent profile and his description sold me. And at least for me, he was not wrong.
It opens up with hay. A sugary hat though which is quite nice. Within a few minutes a sweet pipe tobacco and honey jump into the mix along with amber and incense.
Definitely resinous, but not in an overpowering way
The final dry down reveals a smooth musk that's not really clean or animalic. It's just nice
I think it was a steal for 70 bucks and it will definitely be in my fall rotation.
Do any of you have any experiences with this fragrance?
