Great times in Madrid!

Greetings brothers and sisters! Finally made it to Spain and had the privilege of spending a couple of hours of my time in this wonderful little boutique named Le secret de Marais. All niche with some offerings that from what I understand are unique to Spain.

I was able to try all kinds of smells. Including Monegal, Rosendo Mateu and Carter Barcelona ( all of which I can obtain on discounters, so now I have another list ). More so, I was turned on to the creative olfactory experience of one Marina Barcellina with her signature line and her astrobiology inspired line Aromatom. I picked up spring rain from her line and We are the Martians from the Aromatom line.

Finally after realizing that the spring rain was no longer available in a full bottle, he gave me a hefty tester and we went with bergamotto by laboratorio olfattivo.

It was such a wonderful experience to be able to talk about fragrances and being led to the type of fragrances that I was searching for. They were all remarkably knowledgeable and happy to spray anything I wanted on a strip or my skin. They gave me 2ml samples of the 2 that I purchased as well as 4 more samples including Amouage Outlands . Walked out of there with a severely fatigued, but happy nose.

I'd love to hear if anyone out here has ever experienced this lovely place. Will be visiting an artisan boutique in Malaga next week. I'll let you know how that goes.
