This is one of my 4 YSL Tuxedo alternatives I have, (Afnan Turathi Brown, Rochas Moustache (EDP), Fragrance World Suits, and I gifted a 5th one I had “Milestone Taxco”). Kismet for Men was launched in 2020, opening with a beautiful and refurbished blend of soft woods, fresh spice and sweetness. As it dries down, it transitions to a more balsamic sweet, ambery, woodsy and leathery undertones aroma. A very refined and sophisticated aroma that can’t go wrong. Very easy to wear, cooler weather appropriate (all year round IMO,) for any occasion, with good projection and longevity.

Anyone ever thought about layering Tygar and Nexos? Neither had I until I went closet shopping again last night and discovered I had ordered Leopard’s Fortune by Dua . This hybrid is exactly that: a blend of Tygar and Nexos, where grapefruit melds perfectly with vanilla, cinnamon, tobacco, ambroxan, tonka bean and lavender. Maybe I bought this when my knees were starting to go south and somehow it got lost in the “Bermuda Triangle” known as my closet but I’m re-discovering it now much to my enjoyment as it’s a terrific scent, a marriage of two exceptional fragrances perfectly blended into an exceptionally fragrant woody and aromatic wonder.
