A new relationship, job or city won’t automatically create a new life if you’re still bringing the same habits, insecurities and attitude with you. You can change your environment, but if you don’t change yourself, you’ll eventually recreate the same problems with different people in a different place. Sometimes changing your situation is necessary. But before blaming everything around you, take an honest look in the mirror: What am I doing or not doing that is contributing to my current situation? Take accountability. Work on what you can control. As you improve, your life will naturally begin to improve around you.
