I offered to build a free website for a contractor that literally took me less than 1 minute to build. Turns out he is a General Contractor which means he has sub-contractors and many other connections. He said, he will introduce me with to his list of 200 subs if my product delivers.

and a lesson I learned, is that if you give first, you earn their trust not just their money. I rather have a lot of clients trust me with their money than have a lot of clients wondering if they made the right decision going with me.
