Nobody learns the wild alone. For thousands of years, outdoor skills have been passed hand to hand around a fire.
Camping Wilderness Skool is a private community for camping, paddling, canoe camping, survival, bushcraft, hunting, fishing, navigation, camp cooking, wilderness first aid, and outdoor skills learned from real trips.
The Campfire is home to campers, paddlers, hunters, anglers, and woodsmen sharing practical knowledge from the Okefenokee and blackwater rivers of South Georgia and North Florida.
Our promise: help you plan and complete your first—or next—overnight trip with people who have done it.
Membership includes 15 practical courses, daily discussions, weekly live calls with Rodney, field notes from real trips, and access to the Camping Wilderness Skills app.
$19/month or $109/year. Start with a 7-day free trial. If it is not worth the seat, walk out—no hard feelings.
Where the Map Ends, The Wild Begins.
Stay Rugged.

I think it’s a darn good page. Great way to get to know people, spread your own knowledge and ideas. Learn more from others. All in all good page

What a community! Led by Rodney Thomson and he takes the forum very seriously. There are daily prompts to stimulate the brain, Field Notes for Premium members, and I cannot recall a community posting or reply that he did not personally weigh in on. Then there is the classroom. I have worked in the first four modules, each with a video type lesson, written summary, additional references, and an assignment. He has also compiled the modules in their entirety into one document. Very impressive.
