You can't CEO your way around not knowing your numbers.
This is where a lot of creators lose me. You know your views. You know your followers. You know how many people watched your story. But do you know how much money your business made last month? Do you know your expenses? What you owe? What's outstanding? What your content costs you to produce? What you actually PROFIT from a brand deal after everybody gets paid? If we're going to call ourselves businesses, we have to know the business. The numbers aren't the boring part. The numbers tell you whether this thing actually works. This week's challenge: Without putting anything private in the comments, tell me ONE number in your business you're going to start tracking consistently.

Don't just get paid. Get positioned.
Every check isn't a good check. Sometimes the opportunity is bigger than the fee, and sometimes the fee isn't worth what you're giving away. I want creators to start asking better questions. Who is this putting me in the room with? What does this partnership say about my brand? What rights am I giving them? Can this relationship grow? Does this help me get closer to where I'm trying to go? Money matters. Of course it does. But the smartest deal isn't always the one with the biggest number today. This week's challenge: Think about the last opportunity you accepted. Besides the money, what did you actually gain from it?

Your brand is not your logo. It's your reputation in rooms you haven't entered yet.
After 20+ years in this industry, I can tell you — the creators who command the biggest deals aren't always the most talented. They're the ones who built a brand so clear that brands come to THEM. When you're intentional about how you show up, you stop chasing opportunities and start attracting them. That's the shift we're working on this month. THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: Describe your brand in one sentence — not what you do, but who you are and who you serve. Drop it below and let the community give you feedback.
Your content is the marketing.
A lot of creators are waiting for somebody to discover them. But every time you post, you're marketing yourself. Every reel is a commercial. Every caption is positioning. Every story is another chance for somebody to understand what you do and why they should care. The question isn't just, "Is this good content?" The question is: "What am I teaching people to know me for?" Because if you post every day but nobody can explain what you do, we have a problem. This week's challenge: Ask somebody who follows you to describe what you do in ONE sentence. Don't explain it first. See what they say.

Have You Met You?
Have you met you? I asked this question at Cater 2 the Creator in Trinidad, and I keep coming back to it. Because everybody is studying everybody else. What are they posting? How are they editing? What's trending? What's the algorithm doing? Cool. But do you know YOU? Do you know what you actually believe? What you sound like? What your story is? What you want people to feel when they experience your content? Because once you really meet yourself, you stop needing permission to create like yourself. And that's when it gets interesting. This week's challenge: Finish this sentence in the comments: "The thing that makes me different is ______."
