I teach fine cabinetmaking on YouTube — full courses, free — and this is where the rest of it lives. Every episode gets a module here with written notes, cheat sheets and downloadable files, plus the details that didn’t fit in the video, and you can post your own work as you build and ask about the parts that aren’t going well.
We work hybrid: the machine takes the piece about 90% of the way and the hand tools finish the last 10%, so more of your time goes to the good parts of the craft. The first course is a Krenov-style handplane, built from a single blank.
