When you study with Chris, you don’t just study. You work in groups. You’re learning by watching other people work with Chris. It's a place to really learn how to create jazz lines and chord movement. His approach to improvisation gives you beautiful bebop lines and ideas along with a schematic and method, so you can make your own creative work through it. I’m a violinist and Chris is my bebop coach. If you want to know how to create your own beautiful lines in jazz, he should be yours too.

Absolute gem of a person and musical genius. Anyone who has the opportunity to work with Chris should! Chris dramatically increased my ability to understand my instrument in a short amount of time. This has allowed me to better express myself musically and actually make beautiful music and feel fully in control while doing it. I can't thank Chris enough for sharing his wisdom and always being willing to answer my questions. This group is a hidden gem that i'm surprised doesn't cost 5x more!

Incredible group. Chris is a profoundly talented musician and top-tier educator. If you are looking to learn how to play bebop, you’ve come to the right place.

The material taught in this group is incredible. It has reminded me of why I wanted to play music in the first place.
