Welcome!
I created this space because I know how complex and sometimes overwhelming the Coimbra Protocol can be to navigate alone. My goal is to turn this into the most trusted, safe, and supportive place for you to manage your health journey. This is what you can expect from this community: - Safety First: We are a patient-centered group. We prioritize facts, medical oversight and supporting each other's success. - Live Support: We will meet twice a month for live Q&A webinars. Keep an eye on the Calendar tab for our next session. Your First Task: Introduce yourself!. Please leave a comment below and answer these three questions: 1. Where are you joining us from? 2. What is the one thing you are most hoping to learn or gain from this community? 3. What is one "win" (no matter how small) you've had in your health journey recently? 4. I’m reading every single comment - let’s get to know each other!
Welcome!

Encouragement story
Hi everyone! I’d like to share an observation as a little encouragement for those who are struggling with various health problems. My husband started the Coimbra Protocol in May 2026. We haven’t noticed any major changes yet, except for better energy levels. When he started, he could walk about 100 meters before his foot drop would begin, so walks longer than 1 km weren’t really possible. He’s also following a ketogenic diet, exercising regularly, and praying a lot. He also has a strong “can-do” mindset and is very goal-oriented—which is important for this story. Two weeks ago, we agreed that he should take three days off from work, family responsibilities, and parenting, and go on a city break to Budapest with his best friend. That trip made a huge difference to his mindset. While he was there, he managed to walk an incredible 15 (!) km while sightseeing. Of course, it wasn’t all at once, but believe me—normally, after our 2 km walk to church with the kids, he would come home completely exhausted and spend the rest of the day lying on the couch. What I’m trying to say is that your mind is a huge factor, whether you believe it or not. I doubt this is the Coimbra Protocol working already, and I don’t think it’s the ketogenic diet alone either. I truly believe it was the combination of a relaxed mind, lower cortisol levels, and simply getting away from everyday stressors for a few days—work, kids, and daily responsibilities. I believe that even the best medication or the best diet can do nothing if you never get out of “fight-or-flight” mode. Right now, we’re focusing on finding ways to help him relax even in everyday life. Healing is possible for everyone. I hope this story brings a little encouragement to someone who needs it today. Have a wonderful day, everyone. P.S. The photo shows my husband’s watch during the trip.
