There's finally something to do in here
Let me start with the honest part. A lot of you joined this room months ago, and what you got was a feed. Maybe a couple of posts from us here and there. Nothing to work through, nothing worth coming back for. That's on us. We built the paid side first and left the front door empty. Fixed as of today. WHAT'S NEW: There's a classroom now, and it's free. Not a trial, not a teaser. Free, permanently, for everybody reading this. Start Here: Your First AI Win — four short lessons, about twenty minutes total. 1. How this room works, and what we're actually for 2. Your first AI win — one real task off your real list 3. Where AI gets it wrong, and the three checks that catch it 4. What to automate first, and what to never hand over. Every lesson works with whatever AI tool you already have open. Nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for. THE LEVELS ACTUALLY MEAN SOMETHING NOW You've got a level next to your name. One like from another member equals one point. That's the only way points move in here. Level 2 (5 points) — The Small Business Prompt Pack. Twelve briefs already built for the jobs small businesses actually do. Level 3 (20 points) — Google Business Profile Basics. Seven checks on why nearby customers aren't finding you. Level 4 (65 points) — A seat at the Quarterly Teardown, where the three of us take apart something real that you bring. The first one is open to Level 3 while the room is still small. Five points is five people finding one thing you posted useful. You could be there today. ONE HOUSEKEEPING NOTE: The categories got reorganized — five now, instead of what it was. If you posted something before, it moved to wherever it fit best. Nothing was deleted and nobody lost points. WHAT I NEED FROM YOU: One thing. Ninety seconds. Go to Introductions and post two lines: what you do, and the one part of your week you'd hand off tomorrow if you could. That second answer is how the three of us decide what to build next. I'd rather build the thing you actually need than guess for another month. Then like a few other intros while you're in there. Costs you nothing, and it's five points to somebody sitting there just as unsure about posting as you are.

📍 START HERE — read this first (2 minutes)
Welcome. Genuinely glad you're here. Before you scroll the feed, do these two things. They take about twenty-five minutes total, and they're the difference between joining a community and actually getting something out of one. WHAT THIS ROOM IS FOR Helping small business owners and professionals use AI, sell better, and build a brand — without pretending any of it is magic. If you've tried AI and gotten mediocre results, you're in the right place. That's almost always a technique problem, and technique is teachable. YOUR TWO STEPS 1. Introduce yourself in Introductions. What you do, and the one part of your week you'd hand off tomorrow if you could. That's it. Takes sixty seconds. That second answer is how the three of us decide what to build next, so it isn't small talk. 2. Do Start Here in the Classroom. Four short lessons, about twenty minutes total. Lesson 2 gets you a finished, usable thing off your own list. Post it in Wins when you're done. Yes, even if it's rough. Especially if it's rough. Every lesson works with whatever AI tool you already have open. Nothing to buy, nothing to sign up for. HOW THE LEVELS WORK You earn a point every time another member likes something you posted. That's the only way points move so a level is a measure of whether you were useful to somebody, not how loud you were. Level 1 Finding North Level 2 (5 points) — The Small Business Prompt Pack + member chat Level 3 (20 points) — Google Business Profile Basics + workshop replays Level 4 (65 points) — A seat at the quarterly live business teardown. Above that it's recognition rather than locked doors. Nothing worth having is hidden behind a number you can't reach. Level 2 takes five points. You could be there today. One thing, and I mean this: please don't post "great!" or "🔥" on things to farm points. It doesn't work here, it makes the room worse for everyone, and Skool delists communities that do it. Say something useful or say nothing. That's the whole standard.

Did you know your TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram content can drive real search traffic?
Google just made it easier to track that performance. If you create content on YouTube, TikTok, or other social platforms, you likely wonder: Is this actually showing up in Google? And how is it performing? Google Search Central just released a new guide that answers exactly that question. It walks you through analyzing your social and video platform content performance directly inside Google Search Console. Why this matters for your business: Most professionals treat social media and search as separate silos. But Google is increasingly surfacing video and social clips in its search results. If you can't measure that performance, you're flying blind. This new guide helps you: • See which of your external videos and social posts are appearing in Google Search • Understand the metrics that matter (clicks, impressions, and position) • Identify opportunities to optimize your content for search visibility Whether you're a content creator, social media manager, or SEO professional, this is a practical resource for connecting your social efforts to measurable search outcomes. To find the guide, search Google for "Google Search Central July 2026 updates" and look for the developer documentation on analyzing social and video content. What's one piece of social or video content you wish you could track in Search Console? Share it below. 👇 #SEO #ContentMarketing #GoogleSearchConsole #VideoMarketing #SocialMediaStrategy #CompassCoaching

AI over 40 - Part 2 is live
You've been freezing at the empty box because you think there's a magic set of words. There aren't. Part 2 is up — and this is the lesson that kills the word "prompt" for good. Here's the whole thing: a prompt is just a brief. The same brief you'd hand a brand-new hire on day one. Who we are, who's calling, what a good result looks like. You've been doing that automatically for years. Nobody has to teach you this part. Three pieces, and only three, because you can hold three in your head standing in a parking lot on your phone: 🥇 Context — your experience, the part the machine can't know ⭐ Task — one clear job, not four stapled together ✨ Format — the shape you want it back in Then the part everyone skips: it's a conversation, not a search box. When the answer comes back close-but-not-right, you don't retype the whole thing. You just say what's off and you push back at least twice before you accept it. Your assignment this week (a real one, not "write me a poem"): one real conversation in Navigator, about something actually happening in your business right now. Build the brief with all 3 parts. Push back twice. Three cards ship with the lesson — the Three-Part Brief card, the Starter Prompt Pack, and the Plain-English AI Words card. Grab them, keep them open while you work. Then come to Part 3 — that's where we set it up once so Navigator remembers your voice and your business, and you stop retyping your context forever. See you over there.
