✍️ Introduce Yourself
I’ll go first 🙂 I’m a mom of four, and life here is usually a mix of kids, coffee, and trying to keep something creative going in the middle of it all. I’ve spent a lot of years making things—sewing, designing, building little systems that help life feel a bit more ordered and meaningful. Lately that’s been turning back toward my faith and finding simple ways to make space for it again in the middle of everyday life. I’m not doing this perfectly, and I don’t have a polished setup—I’m literally using glue sticks and whatever I have on hand most days. But I do show up, and that’s enough. Love Serves
📖 Read: John 13:1–17, 34–35 Jesus rises from supper, lays aside His garments, wraps a towel around Himself, pours water into a basin, and begins washing His disciples’ feet. This was not impressive or celebrated work. It was the work of a servant. Then Jesus says: “If I then, the Lord and the Teacher, have washed your feet, ye also ought to wash one another’s feet.” What does this passage show me about love? Love is willing to serve. Jesus did not merely tell His disciples that He loved them. He took the low place and cared for a need directly in front of Him. What does this show me love is not? Love is not being too important, gifted, or respected to perform humble work. Did I notice anything new? Read the passage again and list only what Jesus physically does.
