Celebrating the big wins too!
Yesterday was a dream. We opened Savvy Studios - Studio III. What started off as a joke (be careful what you throw out into the universe!) with me looking at the building and saying “that'll be mine one day” (ha ha don’t be crazy that’ll never happen) ended up in the dreamiest of studio renovations. It happened. It’s real. I’m in love ❤️ Sending out lots of good fortune and happy vibes as my cup is overflowing so please help yourself!!

Student Growth Wheel! (and Checklist + Bonus)
Talking to a lot of Teachers lately, and their struggle/goal is student growth... I've done a 'quick fire checklist' for you - which is the first point of call. You would have heard some or most of these before - but have you actually executed on them?! The checklist will help you keep track of your efforts BONUS: If you've already done the suggested list - I've included a Chat GPT prompt you can use to have a creative brainstorm with your AI buddy. This will most definitely give you some new ideas to try, and bring in more students to your school 💃 Let us know what recruitment efforts you're up to this month in the comments, and also what creative ideas your ai gives you! Remember that you can get more out of ai by adding more context - What type of school are you, what are your parents like, what classes do you currently provide, what efforts have you done so far etc etc. Your checklist link is below, and attached to this post if you'd prefer to download that way! 🤓 https://docs.google.com/document/d/1MhBAfDNqeC8jH-wtL5o3p-vVIIsPZXKyEKak_FoJccs/edit?usp=sharing

Old school marketing!
I live alongside a popular park and yesterday I noticed a guy sticking a flyer in the window of every car on the street. Probably about 30 cars I saw his bright blue flyer. I was so intrigued I did a 360 and stopped him. Can I have one please? I asked. He was a plasterer! I commented on the old school tactic and asked if he's had any business from it. He said 2 people. Doesn't sound much by my guess is that he hasn't put more than 200 out and the fact he's still doing it that it must be worth it. 200 business cards = £15 2 x plastering jobs = £1000 minimum 3 hours putting those cards out? £150 (£50ph) £835 profit! Not bad! -- Usually in marketing/advertising, we just need more volume - more posts, more flyers, more eyes on us. If I was this plasterer, I would do 2000 business cards... Sounds like a lot, but when you do the numbers that should equate to roughly £10,000. - It's a little bit different for us, because our customers pay a little bit each time, but over a long period of time. Do you know the LTV of your customers? (Life Time Value) To work out... How long do they typically stage with you? 1,3,5 years? Then multiply that by the amount they spend a year. My average customer spends £3000 a year with me, and they generally stay with me for 7 years before trying another supplier. So my customer LTV is £21000 - makes sense? This gives me an idea of how much I can spend to acquire a customer (assuming that my profit margins are correct!) Questions for you... 1. When was the last time you did the old school marketing and do you do enough? 2. Do you know your customer LTV? Can you guess? Try work it out! 😃
