Got a bad entry here, but trying a short based on the 1hr timeline. The 4150 level was retested and a nice evening star formation on the 1hr. Strong bearish daily close yesterday makes me want to short today.

Not seeing any clear trades this morning, and knowing FOMC is tonight I'm just going to save my mental capacity and take the day off :)

Would like to buy up into this trendline. A lot of liquidity sitting right below 4200, and everything below has been grabbed. But waiting for a pullback first to get a good R:R.

Took a couple of losses today then finally got the short I anticipated from this morning. I had to leave my computer during the second trade today, otherwise I would have gone BE when price went above the closest high. The second loss could have been a BE too when I look at it in retrospect. Learning so much by doing this at least! 1 BE, 2 losses and then 1 win, and ended the day green. Not mye best day but

Giving this a shot. Based on the 5m, and 10m before 1hr closure so I might be a bit impatient here. But lows were grabbed with a lot of liquidity sitting above, and 4200 wasn't quite touched. Only risking 27 ticks ($135) and the R:R is amazing. If it doesn't work out I'll reassess after the 1hr closure.
