About The Dog Training Skool
After spending the last 31 years around sheep and working dogs on a family farm near Cooma, I’ve recently moved to Sydney to be closer to my parter Carmel and without sheep to shear, that just left dogs.
Mum, known to many from the Dog Lovers Festival, has trained dogs for over 50 years. I was also mentored by John Perry down in Bredbo, one of the country’s best sheepdog trialers and stockmen. John, 86, won his last national title at age 84 with his little white dog Bredbo Ash. He also bred my little black border collie Bredbo Steffi, out of the same dog, just to put the argument to rest, Steffi is not a kelpie.
I credit him and Mum with the lucky foundation I got when it came to working with dogs and I’d like to pass on some of that knowledge.
A lot of this will be covered within The Dog Training Skool community but I also offer private lessons which is still the best way to learn so give me a message or call.
