Imagine you find an apartment that costs $700/month.
You furnish it.
Your average nightly rate is $65.
If you average just 20 booked nights:
20 × $65 = $1,300
Now obviously, that $1,300 isn't your profit.
You still have to account for:
• Rent
• Utilities
• Cleaning
• Platform fees
• Supplies
• Maintenance
• Taxes
• Other operating costs
But this is exactly why you should NEVER start an Airbnb because “the apartment looks nice.”
You start because the numbers make sense.
And that's one of the first things we teach people who want to get into short-term rentals.
