Rho Nutrition, a supplement brand selling through Shopify DTC, Amazon, and national retail to hundreds of thousands of customers, is hiring an AI leader for its Business Transformation team. The role is fully remote within the US. You'd own Rho's AI strategy end to end: the vision and capability roadmap, the operating model covering governance, tech stack, vendor strategy, and company-wide adoption, and the success metrics that prove it worked. The emphasis is on implementation rather than strategy decks. You'd build AI-powered workflows, agents, automations, and internal tools, partner with leaders across Growth, Creative, E-commerce, CX, Finance, Operations, Retail, and Product Development to find where AI actually unlocks value, and run initiatives from use case through pilot to rollout. One distinctive piece of the job is leading Generative Engine Optimization, improving how Rho and its products get discovered and recommended across ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI. You'd also build training and playbooks to raise AI fluency across the company and report the financial impact of what you ship. They're asking for at least four years across consumer technology, CPG, DTC, e-commerce, growth, digital transformation, product, analytics, or AI, with a strong preference for experience inside or close to a scaled consumer brand. You need a demonstrated record of implementing AI solutions that produced measurable commercial or operational results, plus hands-on fluency with modern models, agents, automation platforms, APIs, and creative tools. A solid grasp of DTC economics matters here, including acquisition, conversion, retention, LTV, and profitability. Just as important is the ability to lead across functions without formal authority, work comfortably with founders and individual contributors alike, and operate in ambiguity while the technology keeps shifting underneath you. The four-year minimum makes this notably more reachable than most of the senior AI roles on the board, and it suits someone who has been building with AI tools inside an ecommerce or DTC business rather than a career executive. If you apply, lead with one workflow or automation you built and the number it moved, whether that's creative output, response times, or margin. GEO experience is rare enough that any real work there is worth highlighting. No salary is listed, so ask about the range early.
