The Power of Breath!
I went on a breathwork journey last night facilitated by a student of mine and wow! It is always so powerful when these journey's are expansive, light, empowring, and so euphoric! I'd love to hear what has been your most powerful journey?

Your breath is already talking to you. Are you listening? 🌬️
Most of us go through our entire day breathing on autopilot. Shallow. Fast. High in the chest. And we don’t even notice, because it’s just… breathing. It’s automatic. But here’s the thing. Your breath is the one function in your body that lives in both worlds. It happens automatically (thank god, we don’t have to think about it to stay alive) AND you can consciously take the wheel whenever you want. That’s huge. It means your breath is a direct line into your nervous system. When you’re anxious, your breath gets shallow and fast without you asking it to. And when you consciously slow your breath down, you can send your nervous system a signal back: we’re safe. We can settle. This is why breathwork isn’t just a “woo” practice. It’s a literal tool for shifting your state, on demand, using something you already have access to 24/7. You don’t need a full breathwork journey to feel this. You can start noticing right now, in the small moments of your day. Your task this week: Next time you’re driving, check in with your breath. That’s it. No need to change anything yet, just notice. Is it high in your chest or low in your belly? Fast or slow? Are you holding it without realizing? Driving is such a good one for this because we’re usually half checked out, running through our to-do list, half tense without knowing why. It’s a perfect little mirror for your nervous system. Once you notice, if you want to play with it, try this: inhale for 4 counts through your nose, exhale for 6 counts through your mouth. A couple rounds. See what shifts. 🚗💨 Drop a comment and let me know what you noticed. I read every single one. 💛
