👋 Welcome to Engineers to Sales Pro
Welcome! You’re here because you know there’s another path. Whether you’re an engineering student, an early-career engineer, or someone who’s hit a ceiling in engineering, this community is built to help you transition into Technical Sales and Sales Engineering with confidence. I made this jump myself. After working as a Senior Engineer in robotics, I moved into technical sales and sold over $1M in my first six months. Now my mission is to help other engineers do the same—without years of trial and error. Here’s what you’ll learn: ✅ What Sales Engineers and Technical Sales professionals actually do ✅ The skills companies are willing to pay a premium for ✅ How to communicate with customers and executives with confidence ✅ What skills on a resume and LinkedIn that get interviews ✅ How to prospect effectively and land job offers ✅ How to earn based on the value you create—not just years of experience First Steps 1. Introduce yourself in the Introductions section. 2. Tell us: - Your engineering background - Where you’re located - Your dream role or industry - What’s holding you back from making the switch 3. Complete the course modules in order—they’re designed to build on each other. (Coming soon) 4. Ask questions. The more you participate, the faster you’ll grow. This community is for engineers who are ambitious, coachable, and willing to take action. You’ll get the most value if you show up consistently, apply what you learn, and support others doing the same. I’m excited to help you build a career with greater impact, greater freedom, and greater earning potential. Let’s get to work. 🚀
Creative Name Collection
One of the hardest parts is finding the right name of a lead. After that you can always find a way to contact them. Creative way I found a name today was the lobby had some magazines and the subscription was under the name of one of their engineers Another time an employee was trying to survey the workers and asked them to email him with suggestions on process improvement. Easy work Keep an eye out!

I have a couple non engineers who may be joining to help me flesh out the curriculum for the classroom work. They will be looking for new jobs and we will apply the outbound prospecting method that this community will teach for transitioning engineers to sales roles to help these people get new jobs. The concept is the same. Using Professional Outbound Prospecting you can the methods to raise money for charity, sell a car, get a job, get a girlfriend or even change careers. Oversimplified it is finding attention and learning how to provide them value and asking to make it happen!
Introducing myself - An engineer who's fed up of Watching other engineers get the short end of the stick
Hello, I'm Olivia a construction engineer from Egypt, currently holding a position as a projects engineer in the local water & sanitation company. But my truest call is in public speaking, specifically delivering high stakes presentations and pitches to deliver great ideas to great stakeholders. I'm fed up watching great engineers with decades of experience get sidelined and have the short end of the stick simply because even though they're terrific on the technical, they're botching presentations and losing in the pitching game I dream of helping them get their actual worth financially and hierarchaly speaking by showcasing not only the right work but the right words to the right audience
