Its just too much. Loved ones, & close friends, are hurting or passed. My mum, looks out & just stares outside the windows or loved ones on the wall. Im finding it difficult to sleep. A friend with a caring once assertive spirit is surrounded with verbal explosive outbursts as her husband slowly deteriorates. I will try to sleep this will pass eventually. One month has passed since my sister’s gone, and the days seem to be flying by so quickly. I look at her picture every day, along with pictures of my mum and other loved ones we’ve lost. It reminds me that death is not a normal part of life. If it were, it wouldn’t hurt so deeply when someone we love is taken from us. But there is something that gives me hope—the resurrection. My sister welcomed me being able to explain to her what the Bible teaches about the resurrection, and she came to appreciate how much prayer can bring us peace, even during the hardest moments. If you’d like to know more about the resurrection and the hope it gives us, I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned.
