Happy Sunday, beautiful ladies! I want to share something I’ve been working on, but first, can we talk about how difficult it can be to simply REST? Between motherhood, work, ministry, school and all the responsibilities we carry, sometimes we become so busy serving everyone else that we forget to sit at the feet of Jesus. And when we finally stop, the guilt creeps in. But something the Lord has been teaching me is that rest is not a lack of faithfulness. Sometimes resting is an act of surrender. In Mark 6:31, Jesus invited His disciples to step away and rest. The work wasn’t finished, and people still needed them, yet Jesus recognized their need to pause. That Scripture inspired me to share Rest Without Guilt, a five-day Christian devotional journal from Faithfully Restored. 🌸 Over five days, we’ll explore: 🌿 Resting without feeling lazy 🌿 Finding our worth in Christ rather than productivity 🌿 Honoring our God-given limits 🌿 Establishing healthy boundaries 🌿 Receiving the rest Jesus offers Each day includes Scripture, a devotional reading, guided prayer, reflection questions and space to journal. The journal is now available for $5 as an instant digital download. 📖 Get your copy here: https://faithfullyrbyyelitsa.etsy.com/listing/4583341010 And whether you purchase it or not, I want us to reflect on something together today. 💬 COMMUNITY QUESTION: What is one thing that makes it difficult for you to rest without feeling guilty? Is it motherhood, unfinished responsibilities, the pressure to always be productive or feeling like you’re letting someone down? Share below. Let’s encourage and pray for one another as we learn to rest in Him. 🤍 With love, Yelitsa | Faithfully Restored 💜
