Welcome to Film Studio AI
First of all, a very warm welcome to all our new members. Thank you for choosing to join the community. I really appreciate you being here, and I am looking forward to building this space with you as we explore what is possible with AI, filmmaking and storytelling. And I thought there would be no better way to begin than by sharing a project I have just completed. THE STAG KING — EPISODE ONE: "THE ARROW" The Stag King is a macro drama series, and The Arrow is the first episode. I have uploaded the completed film here in the community (Please give your feedback - Don't hold back ☺️)...so please take a look when you have a moment. It is a short film of approximately 1 minute 27 seconds, and it is the finished result of the production process I am going to be sharing with you. This was a commissioned project for a client who provided the original treatment and three scripts. I selected one of the scripts and took the project through the complete AI film-production process - from development and visual direction through character references, storyboarding, shot planning, AI generation, editing and the final film. I am sharing this project with you because this is exactly what Film Studio AI is about. It is not simply about learning AI tools. It is about learning how to make films with them. And more importantly, it is about storytelling. Over the coming posts, I am going to break down The Stag King and take you through the production process step by step - from the original treatment and script, to the visual development, characters, storyboard, prompts, generation, editing and final film. We will look at what worked, what didn't, the challenges I encountered and the decisions that shaped the final result. The goal is not simply to show you the finished film. The goal is to show you how it was made. Welcome once again to Film Studio AI. I am very glad you are here.

Who Knew Biltong Could Look This Luxurious? ⭐
This was a fun AI commercial to create. The biggest challenge wasn't generating beautiful visuals - it was making an everyday product feel premium through storytelling, lighting, pacing, and shot selection. That's the part of AI filmmaking I enjoy most. I would love to hear what your thought on this commercial

AI Doesn't Need Better Visuals. It Needs Better Storytellers.
AI Doesn't Need Better Visuals. It Needs Better Storytellers. One of the biggest criticisms of AI filmmaking is that it lacks emotion. I think that's the wrong conclusion. Audiences don't connect with films because they're photorealistic—they connect because they feel something. Toy Story, Up, and WALL·E prove that emotion has never depended on realism; it has always depended on storytelling. As AI continues to improve, beautiful visuals will become accessible to everyone. The filmmakers who stand out won't be the ones with the best prompts—they'll be the ones who understand people, emotion, and the craft of directing. AI is just the tool. Storytelling is still the art.

AI Didn't Change Storytelling. It Changed Production.
I have spent over 20 years in the film industry—as a model, actor, and filmmaker. One thing I've learned is this: 1. The craft hasn't changed. 2. Storytelling still matters. 3. Directing still matters. 4. Lighting still matters. 5. Composition still matters. 6. Emotion still matters. What has changed is how we bring those ideas to life. This skincare commercial is one of my latest experiments in using AI—not to replace filmmaking—but to preserve the craft while dramatically accelerating production. My goal isn't to create "AI videos." My goal is to create commercials and AI films that make people feel something. That's the future I am exploring, and it's the journey I will be documenting here. Here's an example of a Luxury Skincare commercial: https://youtu.be/Gf-xgHrvNoM I would love to hear your thoughts. What part of the filmmaking process do you think AI will enhance the most without replacing the creative craft?
