Day 84/365 Mindset One of the things that can make building an online business overwhelming is feeling like you need to know everything before you begin. You need to understand funnels. Content. Offers. Leads. Sales. Technology. Automation. Marketing. And suddenly the list feels endless. But what if you don't need all the answers today? What if you simply need to know the next useful step? Stephen R. Covey's The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People teaches the importance of being proactive and taking responsibility for our choices. A powerful idea from the book is: “I am not a product of my circumstances. I am a product of my decisions.” And: “Begin with the end in mind.” For me, that connects strongly with building an online business. Know what you're working towards. Then focus on what you can do today. Learn. Apply. Test. Analyse. Adjust. Improve. Then make the next decision. You don't need to know exactly what your business will look like six months from now. You need to keep learning and making better decisions as you move forward. That is something I am learning through my own Funnel Junkies and FJU journey. I don't have all the answers. But I am becoming more comfortable with that. Because I am learning to trust that if I don't know something, I can learn it. If something doesn't work, I can analyse it. If the plan needs changing, I can adapt. And if I make a mistake, I can use the lesson. My Starting Over Principle today: You don't need to know exactly how the journey will unfold. Trust yourself to make the next decision, learn from it and keep moving. You don't need the entire roadmap. You need the next step. What is the next step you know you need to take in your business?
