Such an exciting Issue this time as we have several reader contributions - thank you so much Janet, Julie, Meg and Lesley for sending your quilt pics. Pop on over and have a look. We actually had more contributions than published but I ran out of space - what a delicious challenge! 🏡 Around Your Sewing Space Last week's UFO discussion was so much fun that I thought we'd stay in the sewing room! Today I'd love to see where you're creating. Is your sewing space: 🧵 beautifully organised, 📦 creatively chaotic, ☕ shared with a cup of tea, 🐈 supervised by a pet, 🌸 or somewhere in between? New quilts
I made an eagle block to donate for a 250th America birthday quilt raffle. It was paper pieced which I have done a little of. I do not sew through the paper. Rather, I fold it back and sew right beside the fold. But this one had some pretty small pieces and had to be very close to exactly 12 1/2" squares. In the end, I was happy with it.
