It’s a great group of people and Mike ‘s passion for music and ability to effectively communicate has been wonderful - I would recommend to anyone interested in improving theit music skills while having fun.at the same time.

Mike's methods of teaching guitar are making me a competent guitar player, not a guitar player that memorizes tabs and songs but a guitar player that understands and hears what the music is doing. I feel like I could hang in background with anybody even if I don't know the song as long as I know the key. That's powerful stuff.

Mike is a great teacher, if you’re a beginner looking to break out into being a more intermediate player this is the place to be. Even though it mostly revolves around the Grateful Dead this is the place you want to be if you want to learn how to play the guitar. Most teachers just teaches you on learning a song not the guitar. My only complaint would be on how many Beatles song we go over. Oh look at that you’re only allowed 500 characters on a review. So MIKE YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find the classes offer enough challenges to keep me interested while also adding a layer of comfort to practice what I have already learned.
