WELCOME TO THE GRIEF TALK™ TRAUMA NETWORK
Where Silence Ends and Healing Begins. The GRIEF Talk™ Trauma Network is a GRIEF- and trauma-informed community for people who are tired of pretending they are fine. Here, we develop language for what hurts, examine how loss and trauma have shaped our lives, and take practical steps toward healing, resilience, and healthier leadership. People rarely heal what they cannot name. This community exists to help close The Language Gap™ between what you are carrying and what you have been given permission to say. FREE AND PAID ACCESS Free access includes community conversations, reflection questions, GRIEF Profile™ discussions, selected teachings, public-event announcements, and opportunities to connect with other members. Paid Founding Membership adds exclusive weekly teaching, guided exercises and downloadable resources, two complete newsletters each month, a monthly live GRIEF Circle, Ask Richard sessions, and early access to coaching opportunities. HOW TO BEGIN Read this complete orientation and community agreement. Introduce yourself in the START HERE category when you feel comfortable. Explore NAME WHAT HURTS to participate in reflection and discussion. Visit GRIEF PROFILE™ to learn about the different forms of GRIEF. Share progress and breakthroughs in MEMBER WINS. Review ANNOUNCEMENTS for newsletters, events, programs, and membership opportunities. Use ASK RICHARD to submit questions for future conversations and live sessions. You are welcome to introduce yourself, but you are never required to disclose the details of your trauma, loss, or private experiences publicly. COMMUNITY AGREEMENT By participating in this Network, you agree to: • Treat every member with dignity, patience, and respect. • Listen without judging, shaming, minimizing, or comparing another person’s pain. • Protect the privacy of members. Do not copy, screenshot, record, or share another member’s story outside this community without clear permission. • Speak from your own experience instead of diagnosing or prescribing solutions for someone else.

Who Taught You Not to Talk About It?
One of the things I want us to recognize within this community is that silence can become so familiar that we mistake it for part of our personality. Some of us have spent years believing we are simply private people, when the deeper truth may be that we were never given the freedom to express certain experiences or emotions. As we continue exploring what we have learned to carry, I want you to consider whether there are parts of your story you have kept hidden because someone taught you they should remain unspoken. You do not have to share anything before you are ready, but I encourage you to reflect on this question: What conversation would you have with yourself today if you knew judgment was no longer part of the equation?

GRIEF is Nothing to Be Ashamed Of
As members of this community, I want us to begin examining something that is often overlooked: how frequently we dismiss our own experiences because we believe someone else has endured something worse. Pain does not have to be compared or ranked before it deserves acknowledgment. Sometimes we have carried something for so long that we no longer recognize its influence on how we think, respond, trust, or connect with others. This community is a place where we can begin exploring those experiences without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. A question for our community: What is one experience you once minimized but now recognize had a greater impact on your life than you initially understood?

What Have You Normalized that Actually Hurts
Today’s question deserves more than a quick answer because some of what we normalized helped us survive. We may have needed those adaptations at one point, even if they are no longer serving us now. The deeper work is recognizing when survival has become a pattern we no longer need to carry. You are invited to reflect without judgment: What have you outgrown that you once accepted as normal? #GRIEFTalk #LanguageBeforeLabels #HealingJourney #EmotionalWellness #SelfAwareness
