Burn blister
So I made this After Sun spray before heading to the beach this summer (super fair skin = easy to burn). Did not use it at the beach, but I’m spraying it on my hot tea burn (and blister) at least twice daily. It feels so lovely!
You shouldn’t apply oily substances to a blister, of any kind, as the blister’s purpose is to protect the healing that’s naturally going on inside it. An oily coating prevents it from “breathing”. And do not “pop” burn blisters for the same reason; the skin underneath is very damaged and needs time to heal.
This spray however has aloe vera gel and gentle hydrosols to soothe and care for healing skin.
The previous application of lavender oil, before the blister had formed, is why I remain pain free and I thank heaven for that. This spray is helping my skin stay hydrated and heal faster.
I will post before, progress and after pictures later. The photo of the blister now may shock you too much.
