It's my absolute please to welcome you; my name is Hannah and I've been home educating since my first daughter was born nearly 16 years ago. For the last 6 or so years I've home educated as a single parent, working online and helping other families create their ideal lifestyles outside of the norm. In here I've popped my Reimagine: Home Educate With Confidence course, in the Classroom - as well as lots of extra resources. For those of you looking for a way to earn online in order to make home education work (or even just for fun) please feel free to grab a 7-day trial of my other community where I teach women how to grow and earn on Instagram and/or TikTok! Advice from solo parents
Hi everyone I am looking for some advice please. 2 weeks back into the school term and already I can see the negative impact on my daughter. She is autistic, masks at school all day and I am dealing with the fall out at home. I’ve been thinking both home ed for a while but every time I go back to the worry of how I would really cope. I’m a solo parent, I run my own business. Whilst that brings me flexibility, it is also all consuming. My daughter is almost 6, I can’t work when she’s around as she just will not let me, interrupts, trying to grab my attention all the time. I have minimal support, my mum could probably have her one day per week but that is really my only support. Are there other solo parents on here that have made it work? I’d love to hear your experiences and any tips please.

Sneaky Learning - ADHD
Hi everyone. First time poster. I’m Diane from Glasgow. I have just started home educating my 8 year old due to school refusal. I also suspect she has ADHD but still on the waiting list. Sitting down doing worksheets etc is becoming hard work as the idea of learning isn’t appealing apparently 😂 so I’m now trying to go down the route of sneaky learning using games. Right now I have her playing Prodigy Maths on the iPad and it’s going well she is creating character and casting spells then she has to do maths questions to gain more magic etc. Are there any other parents out there who are in the same boat and can recommend any other sneaky ways to teach?

Saying hello...I'm new here...
Hi everyone, I'm Sharon from East Sussex. I don't yet home educate - although my youngest daughter is currently not in school. She is currently diagnosed with ARFID so we are working through her anxiety around eating to get her back on her feet again. School avoidance is part of this, but also she struggles with school on and off anyway. She has one more year in her current school and then we need to figure out what the next step looks like. I am terrified of home education for many reasons, but also know I need to explore it as an option. Just wanting to connect and say for now.
