PART V My Journey with the Council of 12 - Channeling In the late 1980s and early 1990s this is where things became very, VERY interesting! It seemed the C12 had volumes to teach and as always, I was a willing student. Living in my condo and working a very stressful full time job, my leisure time was all-important to me. Not only was I working a full time job but was running a side business (mediumship and spiritual guidance), seeing clients on evenings and weekends. I so loved languishing after a long day and spending every spare moment reading, writing and researching information that had come to my awareness. Life was good! I was learning and growing and I truly felt I was in control of the way it was all unfolding. I was wrong. One evening, I decided not to research, write or anything else that required mental stimulation. After an unusually long day I ate dinner and simply turned on the tv to watch something mindless. Try as I might, there was absolutely nothing that held my interest whatsoever. I thought perhaps I was having an issue decompressing so decided to make myself a cup of tea. Typically, sipping on something hot as I relaxed was enough to do the trick and I could settle. Oddly, while making tea I noticed arbitrary words running through my mind. I dismissed them at first until I realized they had a specific rhythm. It caught my attention as I walked down the hall to retrieve a blanket and pillow to nestle into on the couch. I thought it was so strange and again attempted to dismiss it. Once settled with tea and comfort I began watching a show and again, it held no interest and by this time I was becoming quite annoyed. I turned off the tv and thought I would just read a book. As I started reading the words started going through my mind. Becoming more and more annoyed I decided to put the book away and simply listen to some music. I laid on the sofa listening to soothing tones and suddenly the words were back. What on earth was happening! I fetched a pad of paper and a pen and thought, “Okay. Now I will write the words down when I notice them and then perhaps it will go away”. It was my experience with Spirit messages that if I couldn’t readily understand a word or a picture it would spin in my brain until I spoke of it. Once spoken, it seemed the spell was broken and I could move on to different messages. Perhaps the insistent words in my mind would behave the same way.
