1. Drugs
I started hard drugs in my early 20s and never stopped. I had easy access, and I thought partying is what 20 yos did. I thought it was all about having fun. Because of it, I didn’t work in my 20s to better my life. I just treaded water. It was a lot of wasted time that I don’t even remember.
It got worse when I discovered meth. That became my life. I Isolated living with my mom. I almost died. I was a skeleton. I didn’t do anything but get high. Multiple needles in my arm a day. I scared her and my family.
2. Bulltying
I was bullied heavily in middle school for being fat and gay. I was different than the other boys in a small private school. I didn’t play sports. I was a nerd and therefore I was gay. The bullying caused me to eventually miss school a lot. Then the teachers started making fun of me, too.
It eventually lead me to develop agoraphobia with my anxiety being a complicating factor. I wasn’t diagnosed. So I suffered.
3. Self-Worth
I was left with no self worth. I started to experiment with who I was or what I thought would get attention. I was a femmy twink for awhile. I sought attention from older men who used me. I thought that was attention and love.
Co-depency was a complicating factor.
4. Independence
I was afraid to be on my own. I spent me lift bouncing between shitty relationships and my parents house. I didn’t know how to live on my own. I was scared. I never was made to do it on my own and I exploited that comfort.
This was essentially failure to thrive.
5. Codependency
Every person I met I was infatuated with. I would let all aspects of my life suffer to be with that person. Work, family, friendships all meant nothing to the person I was dating. This led me to a shitty marriage with a person with undiagnosed personality disorder. I let my life be his for too long.
HOOKS:
- The Visceral Open Loop "At 25, I was a closeted, agoraphobic skeleton hiding needles from my family. Over 365 days sober later, this is the exact system that rebuilt my body, mind, and bank account from scratch."
- The Childhood Catalyst Loop "Getting bullied in middle school for being gay didn’t just wreck my self-worth—it accidentally gave me the exact fuel I used to transform my physique and build an audience."
- The 72-Hour Tension Loop "The hardest part of breaking an extreme codependency cycle wasn’t walking away from a toxic marriage—it was what happened during the first 72 hours of complete silence in my own apartment."
REEL
HOOK : The visceral open loop
SCENE 1 : Close-up of me in low, cool lighting looking directly into the lens, unsmiling and completely stripped of performance. (Deflated) Mopey music
TEXT OVERLAY: I spent my 20s and 30s -partying and hiding needles from friends and family
VOICEOVER: Partying is sold as freedom. I thought i was making up for the time I lost being in the closet. In reality, I lost an entire decade treading water in a body that was literally shutting down.
SCENE 2: Posing or gym lifts, high energy music.
TEXT OVERLAY: Over 365 days sober, Rebuilt from Zero
VOICEOVER: Sobriety didn't just save my life; it forced me to build an identity that didn't rely on a high or another person's validation. The discipline taught me I could do this all on my own. If you're stuck in these toxic loops, you don't need a savior. you just need to bet on yourself.
CAPTION: Party culture in the gay scene can convince you that destruction is just 'living your best life.' It took almost dying in isolation for me to realize that true freedom isn't escaping reality—it’s building a reality you don't need to numb.
Over a year sober. Clean mind, disciplined body, and entirely on my own two feet.
If you’re in the middle of the spiral right now, save this as proof that the other side exists. Drop a ‘RESET’ in the comments if you’re ready to start building your own way out.
(( Obviously my demographic is going to be different. I'm not sure how to parlay my story into people that want to see me naked))
