Things are settling
I know I told you a while back that I was traveling and then starting a new role when I returned. So here's the scoop - I started a new full-time job on Monday (October 5th) with a very well-known brand. As I learn more about my new responsibilities, I'll also be checking in with my new team leader and the legal department to ensure there are no issues with my keeping this space active.
While you can easily find the company I'm working for if you check my profile on LinkedIn, I'll note that anything and everything I post here is my own and not reflective of any opinions or stated positions of my employer unless I specifically say so. It's really important to keep that separate - I can't speak for another company's leadership, and while I give them my absolute best work, that doesn't mean what I create here suggests that they agree with me. I'm sure it's the same with you all for the companies you work for as well.
Overall, I'm still a learning professional. I'm:
🕵🏼‍♀️ an Instructional Designer,
🥷a project manager,
👩🏼‍🌾a program manager,
👷🏼‍♀️an LMS administrator and strategist,
👩🏼‍🏫a facilitator, and
👩🏼‍🔬a reporting/data/evaluation specialist
and that's what really makes this space important - collaborating with all of you to make sure that our skills are sharpened and honed and ready for the present and the future.
So! As we head toward the middle of October, tell me about yourselves - do you do "everything" or "most things" or do you specialize in one or two things? The need for all of those different experience levels is out there, and I'm curious to know what's being expected of you.
