This is an ad I made regarding my niece, Faith's case. Faith was 11 months old when she was murdered by her stepfather Jonathan C Richardson aka Autumn Cordellione. The second video is a recording I made to the Indiana Department of Corrections. This is exactly the type of thing a Victim Advocate will do. You must be willing to speak up, speak loudly and make sure your sounding as professional as you can even when some of these calls bring you to tears.
I had a Parole Officer tell me that people could change, that they do change. The truth is, I'm so skeptical of that. When the Parole Officer said "I just want you to know he didn't hurt anyone this time". Boy, I lost it! There went all professionalism and I had to end the call.
Advocating for someone is a noble profession. Advocating for yourself can be challenging, and that's why in high profile cases you see a designated speaker on behalf of the family.
