Start Here: Welcome to the Kingdom University Parenting Community
Welcome to Kingdom University 🖤I’m so glad you’re here. This community is for Christian parents who are trying to break generational cycles, raise emotionally healthy children, and stop parenting from survival mode. A lot of us love our kids deeply, but we were never taught how to discipline without yelling, how to stay consistent, how to teach our children about God, or how to heal from what we went through while still showing up for them. Inside Kingdom University, we focus on 4 things: 1. Healing the parent 2. Disciplining without becoming who hurt us 3. Raising children who know God 4. Equipping teens for real life and real faith Start here: Introduce yourself in the community and tell us: How old are your children? What is your biggest parenting struggle right now? What are you believing God to change in your home? You are not a bad parent. But you are responsible for breaking the cycle. Welcome home.

WELCOME TO... KINGDOM UNIVERSITY. 👑
Hi. Hello. Hey. Welcome. I see you found us and honestly? God bless the algorithm because you are exactly where you need to be. 😂 Let me introduce myself since we have some new faces in the room. I am Ashley. I am a mom. An author. A teacher. A coach. A content creator. A one woman production company. The CEO, CFO, janitor, and IT department of this entire operation. I wear every hat. Sometimes all at once. Sometimes upside down. I will respond to your message. I promise. It may take me 27 business days because I am also the only employee here, but I WILL get there. I see you. I am coming. 😅 Here is what you need to know about this community: This is not a feel good, vague encouragement, "you got this babe" kind of space. This is a real, blunt, Spirit-led, God-centered parenting community where we do actual work. We heal. We train. We pray. We laugh. We cry. We post things in the comments that we have never said out loud. And we leave better than we came. Now here is how to get started so you are not just standing in the doorway looking confused: 📚 Hit the FREE SERIES tab. Everything we have walked through together is in there. Bible studies, teaching series, parenting deep dives. Go read. Go learn. Go take notes. 🌐 Head to my website and see everything I have for parents and kids. Classes, resources, all of it. https://www.thejourneytofindgod.com 🎬 Every Wednesday on YouTube we do Bible study FOR KIDS. Your children are invited. Share it with them. https://www.youtube.com/c/KashllyKingdomKidz 🙏🏽 On Facebook I am praying morning, noon, and night. Come get covered. https://www.facebook.com/share/1NvXePgbFq/?mibextid=wwXIfr That is the rundown. Make yourself at home. Introduce yourself in the comments if you are new. Welcome to the family. We are glad you are here. Even if it takes me a month to tell you personally. 😂🧡 Until next time, stay positive. 🧡
YOUR SITUATION DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR IDENTITY.
Not the divorce. Not the diagnosis. Not the bank account. Not the child who is giving you everything they have and none of it is good right now. Not the job you lost. Not the relationship that fell apart. Not the season that has lasted so long you have started to forget what the other side feels like. None of it. Not one single circumstance that has happened to you, around you, or because of you has the authority to rewrite who God said you are. We were never taught the difference between our identity and our circumstances. We were taught that what happens to us IS us. So when things fall apart we fall apart with them. When the situation looks broken we start to believe WE are broken. When the season is hard we decide we are the problem. And we walk around introducing ourselves by our wounds instead of our worth. I am a single mom. I am going through a divorce. I am struggling with my mental health. I am a parent who is failing. I am somebody who can never get it right. And the enemy loves it. Because the moment you accept a circumstance as your identity he does not have to do anything else. You will limit yourself for him. You will shrink yourself for him. You will disqualify yourself for him. All without him lifting a finger. When God called Moses he was in the wilderness tending someone else's flock. His situation said... fugitive. Failure. Forgotten. But God said.... deliverer. When God called Gideon he was hiding in a winepress threshing wheat because he was afraid of the enemy. His situation said.... coward. Nobody. Least of his father's house. But God said... mighty man of valor. When God called David he was in a field nobody thought to invite him in from. His situation said... overlooked. Unqualified. Too young. But God said....king. Not one of them looked like what God called them. Not one of them felt like what God called them. But God does not call based on what He sees in your situation. He calls based on what He placed in you before your situation ever existed.
FROM WINGING IT TO MASTERING IT.
When I first became a parent I was absolutely winging it. And that is okay. We wing it when we are learning to drive. We wing it when we start a new job. We wing it in a new city when we do not know where anything is yet. We wing it in a new relationship. We wing it the first time we cook a meal we have never made before. Winging it is not failure. Winging it is the starting point. but.. It has an expiration date. Think about the disciples for a second. When Jesus called them they were not theologians. They were not pastors. They were not educated religious leaders. They were fishermen. Tax collectors. Regular people with regular lives and no extraordinary qualifications. And Jesus said follow me. So they did. They were winging it. They did not fully understand who He was yet. They asked the wrong questions. They fell asleep when they should have been praying. They argued about who was the greatest. Peter cut off somebody's ear when he should have been still. They ran when things got hard. They were winging it. But they kept following. They kept watching. They kept listening even when they did not understand. They stayed close even when it cost them something. And one day the winging it became wisdom. One day what they had absorbed through proximity and obedience became something they could actually teach. One day they stopped being students who were figuring it out and became men who knew what they were doing. The fishermen became the foundation of the church. The ones who were winging it became the ones the whole world would learn from. But only because they did not stay in the winging it season. 1 Corinthians 13:11 says it plainly. When I was a child I spoke like a child. I thought like a child. I reasoned like a child. But when I became a man I put away childish things. There is a maturity that is supposed to happen. Not just in age. In intention. There is a point where you stop reacting and start responding. Where you stop hoping things work out and start building systems that make them work.
Can you Pray and help me spread the word?
You have been here with me. Through the posts. The prayers. The Bible studies. The resets. The hard conversations. The testimonies at midnight in the comments. You showed up for this community and I do not take that lightly. Here Is My Vision. Right now faith and education live in separate boxes. Your child goes to school and learns math. They come home and maybe do a devotional. But what if those two things happened at the same time? Woven together so naturally that your child is memorizing scripture while they master multiplication? Learning to read through the lens of Biblical truth? Doing science and seeing the Creator in every lesson? Im creating a new curriculum called ONE ACCORD The flagship initiative of Kingdom University Network. A Christ-centered educational ecosystem where children do not have to choose between academic excellence and Biblical truth. Because faith is woven into every lesson. Every song. Every workbook. From the very beginning. Here is what I are building with the help of the LORD Faith integrated music albums where kids learn academic skills through songs they will sing for years. As they memorize the beat they memorize the Word. Kingdom Curriculum workbooks that teach reading, writing, grammar, math, and science through a Biblical worldview. Resources priced so that every family can access them regardless of income. This is a 4 year roadmap built grade band by grade band so every phase is real and finished and in children's hands before we move to the next. Year One -- Grades K through 2. Foundational reading, math, and character formation. Year Two -- Grades 3 through 5. All subjects, Deeper Biblical literacy and independent learning. Year Three -- Grades 6 through 8. All subjects, Critical thinking, apologetics, and spiritual maturity. Year Four -- Grades 9 through 12. All subjects, Worldview, purpose, and leadership. Year One starts the moment this campaign is funded. The foundation is already laid. I am already on the YouVersion Bible App reaching families worldwide.
