Writing and publishing a book has taught me a lot. It is not an isolated event. You build the book and let it's last page open other corridors. You discover new friends and communities; you learn new skills and do what you do with clarity, commitment, consistency and confidence as you stumble along. You grow and unfold to be the one who is just comfortable in being. Today I celebrate a received order of 200 books. Yes, I am learning to market and sell books!

It started small; shining light where I walk and just walking. I could barely make a video; I could barely look into the camera. The coaching business was slow but I kept on keeping on. One thing led to another; above all, something beautiful was unfolding within. The book that kept on following me was born. The last page of Beyond The Icon has diversified into beautiful leafy branches. Yesterday I received the biggest order; 150 books for an investment conference gift bag!

Sometimes we think one has to travel to experience novelties and discover the richness of life. My debut book, Beyond The Icon , is opening new doors and leading me to corridors of sheer joy. For four days I have been visiting my exhibition table for book signing and just mingling with writers and attending launches. The Durban International Book Fair is an experience I will always treasure. It was wrapped up with literary awards. It was the 7th Book Fair in town and I had not attended a single one because 'I was busy'.
