I'm on a mission! One too big to tackle on my own. SALES should be FUN! When sales are FUN... Money rolls in. When SALES are avoided... Money skips town! 🤩The MORE FUN I have, the MORE MONEY I make. 🤩 Maybe I'm just not a tough enough mudder trucker? But... I've never been able to muster up enough "discipline", "grind" and "persistence" for very long. My thing is... HOW DO I MAKE SOMETHING FUN?? Cuz... Trying to be a Navy SEAL of Sales never worked for me. So... I'm bringing in FOUR Fun dudes to our community... To help us ALL... Make Sales FUN! Please lemme introduce: @Chris Dyson is a fun magician in the DMs. He's "sold" millions. He's sold a company for millions. @André Hallaby Sells online and offline. Offline he sells solar. He's always got a smile on his face and we've been online pals for years. @Daniel Iversen Successfully sells in the financial space. Finance and money can be "boring" and unfun. But Daniel is here to make selling things like "option trading" education feel more like a fun adventure than sitting through physics class in high school. @Luke Sipka has sales mojo in the service-based "tech" and seo industries. He's also a "renaissance man" playing in these playgorounds: Guitar training, Irish Folk Music and in the "Gold Space." WHAT FUN! Sent a DM to a Skool owner with a straight up partnership offer.
Nothing back for two days. Not because he wasn't interested. He just got busy and my DM slowly faded deeper into his inbox. Now I used to freak out about this.. I would write a draft starting with something like... "Just circling back to this..." And sometimes spend days thinking about the perfect message But that's never worked out for me very well lol The thing that actually got him to respond wasn't a perfectly crafted follow-up or a bigger pitch. It was a clear and personalised risk free offer, with one line at the end. "A quick yes or no is cool." Took the pressure off enough that silence stopped being the easy option. I'm seeing this pattern a lot lately. Someone shows real interest in a DM, then the thread just sits there. Not because the interest wasn't real. Because there's no sequence for what happens right after someone raises their hand. Or we make them think too much and they never respond. So curious about something... When someone shows interest and you follow up, what do you actually say to close the loop? Got a go-to line? Or you just sending another follow-up and hoping? Getting rich in a barbershop
Warren Buffett wanted to make money off pinball machines as a teenager. He did not go find people who wanted to play pinball. He put the machines in barbershops. 💈 The barber already had a room full of bored guys waiting their turn. Guys with nothing to do and coins in their pocket. Buffett didn't add one thing to that barber's day. Didn't ask him to sell anything. Didn't ask him to learn anything. Just made him the guy with the cool thing in his shop. Then split the money with him. I spent four years being the machine. Building the thing, then going out and hunting for the bored guys myself. One at a time. Every single month. 😐 Never once occurred to me to go find a barbershop.
