Jaw tension and letting go, literally
Sharing something with you that we go through in the current Meridian Yin Yoga Teacher training. Your jaw is where you hold on when you are not ready to let go. The lung and large intestine share one meridian pairing in Chinese medicine. Metal element. The emotion that lives there is grief. Not sadness exactly. Grief specifically, the kind that comes from holding something that needs to leave the body. The large intestine channel starts at your index finger, runs up your arm, crosses your collarbone at the exact point above your lung, climbs the side of your neck, and ends beside your nose after passing your jaw. The organ that releases waste and the organ that releases breath sit on the same line. One exhales air. One exhales what the body no longer needs. Clench your jaw and your breath gets shallow before you notice. Shallow breath means the diaphragm barely moves. The diaphragm's movement is part of what drives the large intestine to release. A body that cannot fully exhale is often a body that cannot fully let go, anywhere. This is not a metaphor. This is a mechanical chain that we trace point by point in the training. The grief that sits in a clenched jaw and the grief that sits in a body that will not release are the same signal, read through two different maps. We go through this in full in the sessions, where it becomes something you can feel in your own body, not just understand in your head. The online cohort is already underway, but you can still join. Late registrants get the full orientation recording. Registration closes Tuesday 23:59 PT. Hong Kong In-Person is open for early bird pricing right now. See you on the yinside soon. Mai

🌊 Returning to Water & Earth
A Meridian Yin Yoga Practice As the seasons shift, nature teaches us how to descend — how to slow, soften, and gather our energy inward. This class is an invitation to do the same. We’ll explore the Water and Earth elements through Meridian Yin Yoga — harmonizing the Kidney–Bladder and Spleen–Stomach meridians to restore flow, nourishment, and inner quiet. You’ll experience what it feels like when stillness becomes medicine — when fascia, breath, and energy begin to communicate beneath the surface of movement. 🌿 In 90 mins You’ll Experience: - How meridians move through fascia and how Yin postures guide Qi along these pathways - The energetic anatomy of organs — how the Kidneys store fear and willpower, how the Spleen grounds us through care and digestion - The art of sequencing by element, aligning practice themes with natural and emotional cycles - The science of surrender — how fascia rehydrates and the nervous system resets through long-held postures - The bridge between Eastern and Western anatomy — from meridian flow to bone variation and visceral connections - How to practice in a way that is somatic, sensory, and alive — so students feel seen, not corrected ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you’re a movement coach/energy facilitator or a devoted learner ready to deepen your Yin path — not only with techniques, but with understanding and energetic presence — this journey is for you. 🧭 Meridian Yin Yoga Teacher Training (60 Hours)with Mai Li — Jan 5–Feb 6, 2026Live online + full replays 🌟 Early bird: $1200 until Dec 1st ($1600 onward) Includes printed manual + meridian doll shipped globally This training is for that part of you. The part that wants to learn the TCM theory, meridian system, feel the Five Elements, and teach from soul and science.

Welcome Beloved friends!
The Healing Hub is Open! I can barely contain my excitement… 🌈✨ This is a quiet corner in the chaos — your inner stopover in a buzzing world. Hey you — yes, you with the full calendar and full heart. You’ve just stepped into something different. The Healing Hub is like your favorite hidden café in the middle of the city — a place to pause, reflect, and remember yourself again. We gather here not to escape life, but to breathe deeper into it — together. 🌀 I’ll be here weekly, sharing live sessions to guide your self-healing path — but this space is more than just what I offer. It’s what we make of it. Here’s how to move through the space: 🔔 The Gathering Hall Our community board. Find updates, replays, and shared energy here. 🍵 The Tea Circle The casual couch corner. Say hi, share your day, or drop an honest thought. 🔧 The Workstation Where the inner work happens out loud. Reflect, be witnessed, and show up imperfectly. 🌈 The Bliss Garden Celebrate the little things — shifts, wins, and healing moments that spark light. 🧿 The Inner Lab Integration lives here. Share what you’ve learned, how it’s moved you, and what shifted after one of the sessions. Your reflection might be the catalyst for someone else’s insight. 📚 Classroom Explore classes, foundational tools, and recorded sessions to guide your healing. 📅 Calendar Find the link to each week’s live session and never miss a thing. And if your soul ever whispers, “I want to go deeper…” Then there’s the ME Self-Healing Ashram — a sacred space off the grid of everyday life, where we move from concepts into true, embodied transformation. But there’s no pressure. The Hub is enough — for now. Come in. Be real. Stay as long as you like. This is YOUR space now too. Breathe it in. Settle in. Let yourself be nourished. 🌍 Because as we heal ourselves, we help heal the world. With reverence, joy, and so much gratitude, Welcome to the Hub. TCM Camp enrollment is live. First 100 spots are $97, then it climbs. Over 9 weeks (from Sept 27) you'll finally learn to read your own body: your constitution, your pattern, and why the same tiredness, bloating, bad sleep or breakouts mean totally different things in different people. You'll learn to read your own tongue, figure out why one symptom can come from five different patterns, and know exactly how to eat, move, rest and time your day for your body. Not to chase a diagnosis. To catch things early. Around 45 short daily lessons you can do at your own pace, plus 4 live sessions with me. Chinese medicine was built to treat the illness you don't have yet. The best time to treat an illness is before you have it. That is what this camp shows you. Not how to chase a diagnosis, but how to read your own body early, while it is still just a pattern, and bring it back before it ever becomes a name. Grab your tent 👈 See you at basecamp Your Camp Guide, Mai <3

Come sit with me in the Bliss Garden
Hey Hubbbbbbbbb, Okay so I want to do something today that gets us talking to each other and not just sitting here waiting for me to drop something 😆. So here’s what I wanna know— Drop in the comments: 1. Your name 2. Where you’re from (I love seeing how far we’re all spread out) 3. One thing—big or tiny—that’s been helping your mind, body, or spirit lately. Don’t overthink it, seriously. It could be “I took a nap” or “I started meditating” or “I ate cake and it made me happy.” Whatever is real for you. This is YOUR community. Your share might be the thing someone else here needed today. 💚
