First House!!! Accepted Offer
I’ve just gone into contract with my first home! As an investor and personally. I’ve always rented. The offer was $5,000 below the asking price. It is a cape cod with four bedrooms but only me and my sister will be living there initially. I plan on using it as a stepping stone, renting it out once I move on. I have the potential to rent out one or two bedrooms while living in it currently. Closing on September 30. It is currently owner occupied, but I will have to share some pictures once I’m in.

5-Day Challenge
Going through the 5-Day Challenge is rewatching me a lot about myself and some financial sacrifices I may need to make. For networth, I’m okay and not surprised. I have a decent job and almost am done paying off my car (2016 Hyundai Sonata with ~ 86,000 miles), so I can count it. I could save money if I sell my car for a cheaper, older one to bring down insurance. I perhaps risk getting a car with more problems though. I think I’ll keep it for now. I should budget more spending on food and subscription services. I really like the examples and simple breakdown explained in the videos.

Hi, I’m just getting on the path to financial freedom and need to fix my credit before I can get into the war room, but the war room is where I wanna be so I’m motivated to get there. I live in upstate NY and appreciate any advice, leads and suggestions on credit building and real estate investing.
