Business fundamentals - What are they? strategy, finance, marketing, operations, and people management This is what any business school and business coach/mentor out there teaches us. This is where the focus goes when we learn how to grow our business. These are the scarring elements that we must learn as entrepreneurs. But do you know what's missing from this list? It's THE MOST IMPORTANT element - it's the operator - which is you. You are part of the fundamentals of the business. Business schools and majority of coaches out there teaches us that if we want to have things (a successful business) we must do things (implement strategy, adjust finance, marketing, sales, etc.) But almost no one talk about BEING the person who can achieve all these things. They all talk about DO the hard things and then you can HAVE the nice things But you have to BE first the person that can DO the things required so that you can HAVE what you want. The BE part of the equation is not just be qualified type of thing... it's about who you are internally - your beliefs, values, confidence, self-esteem, etc. If you, the person before the coach/entrepreneur, are not aligned with your dream/what you want to achieve or have, then no matter how much work you will do, you will never have the things that you want. Why? Because you will carry a lot of resistance, avoidance, and fears - which will pull you away every time you are closer to achieve your goals. That being said, I encourage you to take time this weekend and reflect on who you are right now and who you want to be. What is the type of person and entrepreneur that you want to be? Write down you vision, and then reflect on how you can build your business from this perspective. Build a business that is aligned with who you are, not with all the strategies shared by everyone out there. I would love to hear your opinion on this subject, and if you ever reflected on who you are building a business that is aligned with who you are✨
