Stop Letting Your Past Decide Who You Are Today
A lot of us are responding to TODAY with emotions that were created YEARS ago. Somebody made a comment about you. Somebody made you feel like you weren’t enough. Something happened that changed the way you started seeing yourself. And now that old experience shows up in real time. You might get defensive when nobody is attacking you. Doubt yourself before you even try. Feel insecure because somebody’s old opinion became your inner voice. That’s what I wanted to break down in this video. At some point you have to ask yourself: “Is this actually who I am… or is this who my past taught me to be?” You can remember what happened without continuing to live from it. Your environment is shaping you more than you realize. What you constantly see, hear, consume, and surround yourself with influences your thoughts. Those thoughts become habits. Those habits begin shaping your identity. And eventually, that identity determines the direction your life goes. Environment → Thoughts → Habits → Identity → Direction In this long form, I break down how our reality is being constructed every day—and why changing your life sometimes starts with becoming aware of what you're allowing into your environment. 🔒 Early Access: The Present Moment Is Where God Meets You
Before this goes public on YouTube, I wanted to share it with you all first. Lately, God's been showing me how easy it is to get caught up thinking about the past or worrying about the future. But the more I slow down and become present, the more I realize that's where I notice Him the most.
