💜 I Want to Build This With You
Hi community 😊 I’m at the beginning of this journey, and I don’t want to build this community for you without building it with you. The last thing I want to do is assume that what I’m posting or creating in the Classroom is what you actually need. I love this industry, and after so many years behind the chair, sometimes I feel like I want to talk about EVERYTHING! ☺️ But I also know that more information doesn’t necessarily mean more value. Personally, I’m a very visual learner. I need to see it, then do it. That’s how my brain retains information. Give me pages of instructions and I’ll probably struggle! 😅 So I’d really love your help: How would YOU like to learn inside the Classroom? 🎥 Short step-by-step videos? 💇🏾‍♀️ Real client case studies? ✂️ Specific techniques? 🧠 Consultations and problem-solving? 🎨 Colour? Cutting? Styling? Texture? ❓Something completely different? And most importantly, what is one skill or situation behind the chair that you would genuinely like more confidence with? I want this community to grow into something genuinely useful for all of us, and I promise I’ll keep listening, learning and doing my best along the way. 💜

How Do You Price Your Work?
Something I’ve been thinking about lately… When you’re setting your prices, what do you consider the most? Is it your: - Years of experience? - Time spent with the client? - Amount/quality of product used? - Hair length or density? - Extra preparation the hair may need ? We can have two clients booking exactly the same service, but one may take much longer because of the length, density, condition of the hair or even the amount of detangling needed before we can begin. So I’m curious… Do you have one set price for a service, or do you adjust your price depending on the work involved? 👀💜

How Do You Price Your Work?
💜 What Would You Do?
Four clients. Four different requests. Imagine each client sits in your chair and says: 1️⃣ “I want to go lighter but keep my curls healthy.” 2️⃣ “I want a completely different cut and a smooth finish.” 3️⃣ “I normally wear my hair curly, but today I want it smooth.” 4️⃣ “I want to wear my natural curls with more definition.” Choose ONE client 👇🏾 What would you want to know before deciding what to do? I’m curious to hear how you would approach it.
