I think a lot of creators are dealing with “ghost viewers” right now. They’re getting millions of views but barely making any money because the product they’re selling doesn’t actually match the reason people follow them. If your content is entertainment-first, don’t suddenly try to sell your audience a generic course or “value.” They followed you because they enjoy your personality, humor, lifestyle, etc., so the product should feel like an extension of that. Merch is an obvious example Danny Duncan can sell T-shirts because the product fits the world he’s already built. On the other hand, if you’re educational, then sell the knowledge people are already coming to you for: courses, ebooks, consulting, communities, templates, whatever makes sense. The bigger lesson is that your monetization needs to match your content. Views are just attention, and attention only becomes valuable when you understand why people are giving it to you. If the product doesn’t match that reason, you can have millions of viewers and still end up with an audience that never buys anything.
