The Principle of "Chayil" ( KHAH-yeel): In Proverbs 31:10, the "virtuous" or "excellent" woman is described using the Hebrew word chayil. While often translated as virtuous, chayil is a military term meaning boldly courageous, powerful, or a mighty warrior. A godly mother is a prayer warrior who actively battles for her children’s souls.
