What creator sourcing actually costs in Poland
We're researching creator acquisition for a TikTok Shop launch in Poland. Here's what came back this week. Agency 1. €6,000/month, fixed. Six-month minimum — they don't take projects shorter than that. That fee covers influencer marketing and UGC production only. Product cost isn't included. Creator payouts aren't included. First month paid upfront, then invoiced monthly on 14-day terms, plus a separate creator budget that has to be prepaid before the month starts. So the floor commitment is €36,000 before a single product ships or a single creator gets paid. Agency 2. €250 fixed per influencer sourced. You also ship the product. And there's no guarantee the creator posts. Pay the fee, send the sample, potentially end up with no video, no product, no money back. The part that actually matters. Both agencies said the same thing we've been hearing directly from creators: Polish creators largely don't want to work on commission. They want a fixed fee. That's the real finding, and it's a structural one. Most TikTok Shop playbooks are written from the US market, where the affiliate model does the heavy lifting — you send a sample, the creator posts, they earn a percentage of what they sell. If a market doesn't accept that trade, the whole cost structure changes. You're not paying out of revenue anymore. You're paying upfront, per creator, with no guarantee of output. For reference, the standard TikTok Shop launch budget framework is three buckets of about $500 each — paid collaborations, content bonuses, retainers. Roughly $1,500/month. Agency 1 is asking four times that, fixed, before anything reaches a creator. We're not signing either. But the pricing tells you something useful about how immature creator supply still is in this market — and that's worth knowing before you build a forecast on US benchmarks. If you're operating on TikTok Shop Poland: are you seeing the same resistance to commission-only deals?

Gut Health on Amazon Germany vs TikTok Shop — the gap nobody's talking about
Quick data point from our German market research. Gut Health on Amazon Germany: $4.64M/month across 6 sub-niches. It's the #1 supplement category by revenue. Same niche on TikTok Shop Germany: roughly $30–50K/month. That's a massive gap between proven demand on one channel and current revenue on another. Two ways to read this: Either the niche doesn't translate to TikTok Shop — or it's simply too early and the category hasn't caught up yet. We're betting on the second. The demand clearly exists in Germany. It just hasn't found its way onto TikTok Shop at scale yet. That's exactly the kind of window that closes fast once brands notice it.

87.9% of Health sales on TikTok Shop Germany come from affiliates
Not ads. Not organic search. Affiliates. We pulled 30 days of data from Kalodata for the German Health category — $3.76M/month total revenue. $3.3M of that came through affiliate creators. If you're launching a health brand in Germany without an affiliate strategy built in from day one, you're playing a completely different game than the market leaders.

The first 2 seconds are worth more than the next 28
Looked into the data behind what actually drives clicks on TikTok Shop videos. Here's the number that surprised me: Ads with a Hook Rate above 40% get 55% higher CTR. Hook Rate = % of people who watched past the 2-second mark. Not the product. Not the price. Not even the offer. Just — did someone keep watching after second 2? If yes → the algorithm reads that as a signal and starts showing your video to more people like them. If no → doesn't matter how good the rest of the video is. Nobody sees it. Most sellers focus on what to say in the video. The better question is: what happens in the first 2 seconds? What's opening your best-performing videos right now?
