If your teen or young adult often says “I can’t,” avoids trying, gives up quickly, or seems stuck, this training is for you. Let's Celebrate Wins
Let’s end the week and head into the weekend by noticing progress — even if it feels small. What is ONE thing your teen or young adult did this week that you want to recognize? (or if you did something...let's celebrate that) Maybe they: - Started something without being reminded - Had a good conversation with you - Went to work or school on a hard day - Tried something uncomfortable - Helped around the house - Applied for a job - Spent time outside their room - Handled a setback better than usual Sometimes progress doesn’t look dramatic. Sometimes it’s simply doing something today that was harder a few months ago. 👇 Share one win from your week — big or small. And if another parent shares something worth celebrating, give them a little encouragement too.

Please Introduce Yourself - No More Having to Do it Alone 🎉
Your first step is simple: Introduce yourself in the comments below so we can welcome you, support you, and help you find your starting point. Copy and paste this prompt: My name is: My child is: tween / teen / young adult / adult child The biggest challenge we are facing right now is: What I want most for my child is: One thing I hope to get from this community is: After you post, reply to at least one other parent with: “You’re not alone. I’m glad you’re here.” This is how we begin building community. 😊
What task is hardest for your child to START?
After our recent training on executive functioning and task initiation, I’d love to hear what this looks like in your home. What is ONE task your teen or young adult regularly struggles to get started on? It could be: - Homework or schoolwork - Getting ready in the morning - Cleaning their room - Applying for jobs - Making appointments - Starting chores - Getting off screens - Something completely different Drop yours in the comments. And parents — if someone shares something you’ve dealt with before, jump in and share what has helped in your home. One of the goals of this community is for us to learn not only from the trainings, but from each other.
