Weekend plans
I was just wondering, is anyone having back-to-school events this weekend or next?
Sometimes there is just so much transition in the lives of families. I have always encouraged nonprofit clients to be different and fill in the gaps. I call it the gap of need.
What if you kept enough backpacks, socks, gloves, hats, underwear, etc for the year? Give out periodically during off seasons of giving.
Good360.org is a great resource for nonprofits that want to partner together and get truckloads of retail items and do give-aways during those gap period as well as times when a family is suddenly in transition and the child doesn’t have supplies anymore.
Just a nighttime thought.🙃🌖😴
