Welcome new members
So excited you're here and looking forward to working together @Nigar Fatima, @Alisha Fatima, and @Jake Burhans! This is our community. I've done some initial work on courses, chat topics, etc., but nothing is set in stone. Let's discuss and develop what is most meaningful and helpful for the community as a whole. I welcome and love / appreciate anyone who wants to start discussion threads, create courses or help guide our group towards what serves us best in whichever ways makes the best sense / is of the best use to all of us. Kind regards, Grimm

Welcome to Novus
We created this community around a simple belief: careers grow fastest when professionals help each other grow. That belief comes from servant leadership - a spirit of service I first learned in the military and have practiced throughout my career. Take care of the people around you, and success tends to follow. Modern careers are rarely linear. They are systems of skill, signal, and service built intentionally over time. The best opportunities rarely appear through formal career paths. They emerge from trusted relationships, shared ideas, and people who recognize the value you bring. Novus exists for professionals who want to create personal agency within that system. A simple idea sits at the center of this community: • Contribution creates credibility. • Credibility creates signal. • Signal creates opportunity. You’ll also see another framework here: Build → Signal → Lead Build real capability through learning and experience. Signal your ideas so others can see the value you create. Lead by helping others grow. If you’re here, you’re part of the founding group helping shape this community. Start by introducing yourself. Tell us what you’re working on, what you’re learning, or what opportunities you’re exploring right now. Glad you’re here.

Getting Started
If you’re new to Novus, start here. This community grows through conversation and shared insight. The best way to begin is by introducing yourself so other members know who you are, what you’re working on, and how they might support you. A few simple prompts to get started: • What kind of work are you currently focused on? • What skills or ideas are you actively building right now? • What opportunities, projects, or career directions are you exploring? • What kinds of conversations or collaborations interest you most? You don’t need a long introduction. A few sentences is perfect. The goal here is simple: help each other grow. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
Who am I
Hi everyone. I work as a data center technician, providing end-to-end service for the deployment of new systems—such as HPC and GPU setups—for leading global companies. My work ranges from troubleshooting hardware issues to setting up new racks, including the installation of cooling, power, and cabling systems, as well as operating the equipment housed within the racks. I have over 15 years of experience in the field. It would be great to connect with people from around the world who work in this same industry.
What are you building right now?
Hi everyone, I’m Steffania from Colombia 👋 I speak with a lot of technology leaders, and I’ve noticed that the most interesting conversations rarely start with “What problem are you trying to solve?” They usually start with genuine curiosity about what someone is building, what they’re learning, or how their perspective has changed along the way. So, instead of a long introduction, I’d love to hear from you: What are you building or working on right now, and what’s been the most interesting part of it so far?
