Welcome everyone! For those of you currently enrolled on (or recently graduated from) Level 1 Sound Training: I have a weekly sound bath session that I run in Kirknewton every Sunday morning 10am until 11am. There are some dates where I will be away and was just going to cancel these sessions but it occurred to me that these could be useful practice sessions for students. The hall is already booked and paid for so why not use it! I have a small local community of folk who I could ask to come along for a free session, you could invite friends and family for a free session (small donations towards the village hall could be nice if you prefer there to be an exchange, the hall is fundraising to keep open). I would make it very clear to people that you are students and that these are practice sessions to take any pressure of you worrying about being judged. You would need to have your own public liability insurance in place as it is working with general public rather than just friends and family. You could also use these sessions to gather some feedback, practice your set up in public spaces and take photos/videos (always ask for consent if taking photos of attendees!).
