The Infinity Curve and Lean Construction
Learning the production laws of Lean Construction finally made the “why” click. Lean has the right physics. What’s often missing is a reliable technical substrate that can actually hold those laws in the field — real-time, field-origin truth that can’t be rewritten later. That’s the problem the Infinity Curve was built to address. Field truth enters at the bottom. Each validated event becomes a permanent turn. A ratchet closes behind it. The curve can advance. It cannot retreat. This structure was developed from the jobsite, not a computer science lab. It was shaped by watching how data and authority actually move on real projects — the rewritten narratives, the gap between what was built and what was later claimed. The current default is still inverted: capture happens in the field, command happens later in the office. That produces hindsight management. The Infinity Curve is an attempt to reverse that flow — putting command back at the point of work, where a named human validates before the record locks. Lean provides the production physics. The Infinity Curve is an attempt to give those physics a permanent, field-origin memory structure. Offered here as a foundational idea. Critique welcome.

Old Dawg Leadership Podcast Episode 3 is Mighty!
Damn! The Old Dawg Leadership Podcast Episode 3 is mighty! EI explained, discussed and how to apply. @Adam Hoots, @Mike Chiles and @Brent Darnell, y'all really took me down a rabbit hole with this one. I thought I knew EI, but I had only scratched the surface. Thank you for being honest, vulnerable and throwing that usual touch of humor in there. I can't wait to apply what I've learned!!
Old Dawgs Takeover Yale!
Team - I wanted to share the video of the #olddawgs presentation at Yale University for The International Society for Emotional Intelligence! Feedback is always welcome. While the entire world is focused on AI, Old Dawgs know that EI will be the difference moving forward!! This presentation is on the Leadership Via Transparency exercise that we are going to be offering to all members beginning in September! I look forward to learning with y'all... Huge thank you to @Jeff Reilly and @Brent Darnell for joining me on this crazy journey!!! I realized on this trip that if we are ONLY hanging around with the LEAN construction crowd, then we are playing small ball!! We have work to do Old Dawgs. Let's goooooo! Built by those who do, and shared for those who will!

Lean Presentation Notes
I need some help refining a PowerPoint presentation. Please feel free to send whatever feedback you feel may add value. Don’t hold back, I promise you won’t hurt my feelings. A little back story: I’ve been putting lean tools and philosophy into practice since the year started, very much acting as a “lone champion” in my small semi custom home building company. For reference our division will close 60 houses this year, and I’m covering about half of those (I am one of four CM’s). The presentation will be made at our next monthly builder meeting in front of the 3 other construction managers, 1 assistant CM, 3 warranty managers, our director of construction (my direct superior) and the VP of Construction (he oversees field ops over the entire company, including our semi custom division). I’m trying to make this as easily digestible as possible, since pre-existing lean knowledge in the room will be slim at best. I don’t have an exact date for this presentation yet, but I’m thinking it will be 2nd week of September. I’ve spent a lot of time putting these practices to work on a day to day basis and I want to make sure that is reflected in the presentation. I’m really looking forward to your feedback! It’s been incredible to be a part of a true grassroots effort at my company, but still have the backing and support of the old dawgs. Appreciate everyone in this group!
